To Bob Schiff sculpture is about form, colour and texture, whether the form is abstract, representational, or even a functional object.

He commences with an idea in mind, but allows the ideas and forms to develop almost by themselves.

At present he is working with poplar and dripped steel as his two main elements, because of the way each of the two materials creates a background that enhances the other.

Bob also creates large steel pots from flatsheet mild steel and is happy to discuss commissions.
